Since our initial studio renovation goal has already been fulfilled, we are now directing all our energy toward raising funds to make all of our events and classes FREE to the public!







THIS YEAR'S PROGRAM AT STUDIO428 INCLUDES:

OUTDOOR DINNER on May 20th prepared by the trail-blazing chefs at Guerneville's Hi Five (announcement and more info coming soon!)
DRIVE-IN! A series of outdoor film nights featuring local filmmakers, drive-in style. Park your car, tune in to our radio station, and enjoy the films projected on our studio building! We will also have a special screening for kids!
SHOW AND TELL: A night where people present something extraordinary that they have seen, done, created, or acquired…
GALLERY: Starting in September, Studio428 will launch its very own gallery space within our studio. The gallery will focus on local and international contemporary artists who challenge how we think about art. Only rule: each artist can only exhibit one piece! The gallery will publish a limited edition piece by each artist to compliment the show.
ART CLASSES (for kids too!!):
Our series of art classes continues! Bookbinding, painting, drawing, encaustics, a crash course in everything print, and new workshop on starting an art collection! We will also introduce a series of innovative classes for kids (ages 5-7, and 8-12).

SPRING COMMUNITY DINNER

Join us for our Spring Community Dinner at STUDIO428! If you would like to attend and have not responded yet, please email info@jmartinart.com by this Friday, March 22nd.

This event marks the launch of our Kickstarter fundraiser to support our programming at the studio (our Kickstarter website coming soon!), such as art and design shows, local writers' reading nights, art classes for kids and adults, drive-in movies, and more!
In the spirit of community gathering, we would also like to invite attendees to share information about any local projects they would like to promote. There will be a table to leave flyers/cards, as well as time set aside at the dinner for people to get up and share their ideas!
The illustrious chef Ariel Ross will be providing our meal!

Drinks will be available for purchase, though you are welcome to bring your own.

BIG RISKS IN DRAWING

Get the year started with a boundary-breaking drawing class!  This class is for all levels:  those who have never had the chance to draw (or are even terrified by the idea), as well as experienced artists who are looking to break old habits and do something new.  Join us in a very fun, supportive environment and experiment with drawing!
